Lewes St. Anne’s Casualties of the Great War – Friday 22 February 2019, 7:30pm

Talk by Councillor Dr Graham Mayhew

This is the last of Graham Mayhew’s scheduled talks on Lewes and the First World War. He will be looking at the 58 people, including 3 women, named on the St Anne’s Memorial, their backgrounds, lives and what happened to them.

It will be a great opportunity to find out more about what Lewes was like 100 years ago.

Venue: St Anne’s Church, High St, Lewes, BN7 1RJ

Entry: £10, including a glass of wine. Tickets are available from St Anne’s Church (normally open weekdays 10am to noon), or from Lewes Town Council reception desk in the Town Hall. All proceeds go to the church’s plan to upgrade facilities with disabled access toilets.

Doors open at 7:00pm
