Three expert speakers, Professor Lucy Noakes, Dr Chris Kempshall and Dr Emma Edwards will give talks about different aspects of the end of World War One and the Spanish Flu.

This event is part of the Inroads Productions’ Heritage Lottery Funded project on the Spanish Flu and the aftermath of WW1 in Sussex and Brighton. Inroads Productions is a Lewes based company led by playwright, Sara Clifford, who specialize in creating arts projects rooted in local community heritage across Brighton and Sussex.

This project is currently looking for interviewees who might have family stories or histories about the pandemic – was your family directly affected? Or perhaps their place of business? The project’s trained volunteers would very much like to meet you and talk to you.
