John Kay
Edwardian Lewes.
This talk will be illustrated by photographs of Lewes as it was a century ago, showing how much some parts of the town have changed, while others remain immediately recognisable today. As the slides themselves will provide the important evidence about Edwardian Lewes, the meeting will be in the new small meeting room, thus avoiding any unfortunate impact of evening sunlight on the usual projection area.
Venue: The new King’s Church building on Brooks Road, Lewes. (Between Tesco car park and Homebase)
See the Meetings page for a list of forthcoming monthly talks organised by the Lewes History Group.
