A one day conference held by the Sussex Archaeological Society

Sussex has long attracted artists due to its beautiful scenery and the quality of its light, and our conference this autumn features many well-known experts who will be discussing in detail the artists Lambert, Constable, Turner and Ravilous, as well as more broad-ranging themes such as changing interpretations of the seaside landscape and the cartographic impulse of Bloomsbury in Sussex.

A copy of the full programme is available here.

Venue: King’s Church, Brooks Road, Lewes, BN7 2BY

Please note that this conference is now fully booked. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please contact Lorna Gartside (phone phone 01273 405737).
