  • The Friends of Lewes
    Aims to stimulate public interest in the beauty, history and character of the town of Lewes and its surrounding area; and to organise concerted action for protecting and enhancing the townscape and for preserving free access to the surrounding area.

  • Lewes Priory Trust
    In 2011, the Lewes Priory Trust completed major works of consolidation and enhancement to realize the full potential of The Priory of St Pancras in Southover, Lewes, as a site of immense cultural, historic, educational and tourist importance, and to allow free access for all.
  • Lewes Racecourse History
    Lewes was known for its horse racing for over 200 years. The Lewes Racecourse 50th Anniversary Club presented a programme of events for September 2014 to commemorate the closure of the racecourse on 14th September 1964.
