A tie-in with the book The Sun Street Story published by the Lewes History Group, this play – The Darker Shades of Sun Street – brings to life tales of petty crime and scandal in this Lewes street during the 19th century.
Researched and compiled by Frances Stenlake, read by Lewes Little Theatre actors directed by Joyce Fisher, and accompanied by songs specially adapted by Valmai Goodyear, this production makes ’em laugh and makes ‘em cry.
