Pevensey Castle Walk & Talk: “Kings & Castellans” Saturday 6 June

Arrive Pevensey Castle ticket office and shop 10:45 for 11:00

Pevensey Castle endured one of the longest sieges in English history when, following Henry III defeat at the Battle of Lewes, the leaders of the royal army fled to France via Pevensey. The constable of the castle refused to surrender the castle and the ensuing siege by Simon de Montfort begun in September 1264 lifted in July 1265.

Join us for a guided walk and talk that brings to life the four Medieval sieges of Pevensey Castle
